Emotional Intelligence (EI/EQ) is one of the biggest buzzwords in the working world, and for good reason: it's one of the most important skillsets an individual must develop if they want to succeed in today's working world. The benefits companies receive as a result of hiring workers with higher levels of EI are both clear and well-established, and yet EI still remains one of the most difficult skills for individuals to acquire and improve upon. As a result, we still see a lack of it in many of today's workplaces. In this interactive event, we'll review and discuss the fundamentals of what EI is, why it's still relevant, how it can help us in a changing world (e.g. the emergence of AI at work), and explore the misconceptions that prevent us from deepening our skills in this area.
